Today I had to answer a Creative Critical Reflection, also known as a CCR. After answering all the questions I realized how much I learned and gained from creating this commercial.
Upon viewing the final cut of our short film, I am filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment that comes from the completion of a long and challenging journey. We took the project from its initial conception all the way through to its completion and ended up with something that we can all be proud of. The editing process proved difficult, but we created a film that truly captured our vision with careful attention to detail and strong collaboration with the team. Working with my friends in a group was fun and exciting, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this group. Throughout the editing process, I learned a great deal about film editing, gaining a deeper understanding of the significance of lighting, framing, and pacing in creating a cohesive and engaging film. So we want to re-film those few scenes as soon as possible. I then told my groupmates what my sister and mom said about the film. My sister said that the effects looked weird and sh...
Well, it is finally over and I have had quite a fun time doing this project. In the end, the finished product was better than I had originally expected. My partners and I were fairly new to editing when we started and expected more things to go wrong. However, I think there were things that could have been improved in the music video. I wish there were more character interactions that developed the character more and told a better story. Another thing I would say we could have done better was to make the video look better as the quality and the lighting looked off in some areas. In retrospect, I feel that filming more shots, in general, would have been better for the editing and filming process. Overall, the project itself was fun to do and I learned lots of things from my partners. I would love to work with them again. I can not wait to do future projects and learn even more about editing. I hope during the next project I will be able to ...
