Filming: A day at the Park

    Today was a filming day for my group. It was a pretty hot day and I made a mistake by bringing pants instead of shorts. I realized that I would need to wear the same pants for the next day of filming as well which was unfortunate. Alex and I had arrived a little early for our filming. So we decided to start the scenes that only included me while he filmed. I am sort of the main character so I was included in every scene, so I knew I had a long day ahead of me.

    First, we filmed me riding a bike leisurely entering and exiting the park. Me entering being the first scene and exiting being the last scene of our music video. We used Alex's bike as his grandparents lived quite literally across the street.

    While we were at the park I saw a tree and suggested we get some shots of me climbing the tree and messing around on it for extra footage. Just in case we did not have enough footage for the whole music video. We also did multiple extra shots of us doing different things at the park, like Christian and me playing on the bobble animals (the ones you see at kiddie parks) and us going down a slide as well. I had lots of fun filming these scenes as they were spur-of-the-moment fun things we caught on camera.

    After filming the second scene Christian and others we were using to help us film arrived and we got to filming all the other scenes.

    For the next scene, we shot a scene with everyone who came which included Christian and me. Except for Alex who was filming of course. During this scene, we all jog up to a hole in the park wall and lookout for a second then all run away scared as if we say something that creeped us out.

    Then we went behind the wall made to soundproof the neighborhood from the oncoming trains. Which is located towards the back of the park. For this shot, it is just everyone walking down a narrow path while Alex films from behind.

    After that our next scene needed a frisbee which I had brought three to let everyone decide which one looked best. For this scene, I just had to throw a frisbee and everyone had to chase after it. I found it pretty fun chasing after the frisbee, to be honest.

    Then we shot a scene of everyone waving at me as I jog up to the small hill they are standing on. This scene had some problems however and lead to us reshooting later after reviewing the footage.

    For the final scene, we shot. We went to a nearby lake and filmed a scene where we all walk up to the lake. Then I look into it and turn back to the group terrified and we all run away.

    After finishing up filming we walked to a shady area and reviewed the footage and made sure there were no inconsistencies with our footage.
