Our Pitch

Pitch 1:

“Young Stephen is exposed to the horrors of war as he witnesses the event that would begin World War III. “

There was a multitude of reasons that lead to us coming up with this idea. While we were discussing ideas Christian suggested that we look at areas we have easy access to and what we can film there so it is easier to get back and forth from the set. I suggested the park down the street from me due to the somewhat hilly battlefield-like landscape. With the rising tensions between the U.S. and Russia, we believed that it could be more relevant. The open field is like a blank canvas and lends itself to easy edits for later on in the process.

Pitch 2:

In the near future robots have gained sentience and some live among humans. People have started reporting citings of robots with broken parts and red spatters on their exoskeletons…

My group members and I were all playing the new Five Nights At Freddy’s:” Five Nights At Freddy’s Security Breach” and we had the idea for an adaptation of the game’s usual themes. We felt that a robot stalker would be unique compared to the usual human stalker and could work well in the short time span we were given. Though we like this idea, we thought it would be too had to convey to the audience that the stalker is a robot without using high editing skills in a short time span. Even though our stalker is a robot stalker-based intros are very common so we felt that we should try something else.

Decision:

“Young Stephen is exposed to the horrors of war as he witnesses the event that would begin World War III. “

We decided on this pitch because we found it the most interesting, and thought it would be a fun project to do with our friends.
